Project management is a vital part of the professional services I offer. Whether furnishing one room or an entire home, outfitting a small apartment with space-saving solutions or designing a great room with massive ambition, a clear and organized process is required to bring every element together in sequence, on time and on budget while maintaining quality control.

Here is my process from your point of view (mine has many more layers):

Consultation:  Our initial meeting to discuss overall scope of project, review preliminary solutions and advice. Colour palettes, fabric and tile options and spacial planning is discussed. If you wish to proceed further, I will create your contract.

Contract: You are presented a detailed contract noting all aspects of the project including fee structure and specifics requested.

Trades day: If required for your project, I walk through your space with my trades so a proper assessment of measurements, costs and a timeline can be prepared for presentation.

Presentation: You are presented with floor and lighting plans, architectural layouts if required, samples for wall treatments and materials,  furniture and fabrics selection for your approval. Budget and timeline are fine-tuned.

Schedule: A schedule is presented you for approval. The  choreography  of     trades and purchased deliveries is established.

Work orders: Upon your approval of each item and material, I submit and track all purchase orders, oversee quality control inspections and arrange deliveries.

Renovations:  If it applies to your project, permits and licenses are obtained,  and construction and utilities work take place.

Installations: Wall treatments, flooring, cabinetry, window treatments and lighting fixtures are installed. For kitchens and baths, fixture installations and appliance connections.

Load in & style: Furniture and décor items are placed and the space is styled.

The reveal: Welcome to your new space!
